  2. This is Version 3.0, if you don't have all the required programs
  3. then get them from Aminet, coverdisks, email me ( sullitec@vital.co.uk )
  4. or ring the number below!

  6. VitalConnect QuickStart

  10. Unpack the archive `VitalConnect.lha' to Ram: (otherwise, unpack
  11. to harddrive!)
  12.  
  13. Double click on one of the install icons in the `InstallMe1st' drawer
  14.  
  15. depending on which browser you would prefer to be the default each time
  16.  
  17. you boot your machine. (This default can also be changed in the Netlink dock menus
  18.  
  19. after installation!)
  20.  
  21. Follow the instructions!
  22.  
  23. REBOOT!
  24.

  26. From the ` InstallMe2nd ' drawer:-
  27.  
  28. Unpack and install Miami, Yam, AmiFTP, AmIRC,  Archiver, Ibrowse, Voyager and AWeb demos
  29.  
  30. into the VitalConnect drawer!
  31.  
  32. Follow all instructions!
  33.  
  34. Those programs without an installer, just drag the drawer into the VitalConnect
  35. directory!
  36.  
  37. Drag your Dopus (4.x) drawer into the VitalConnect directory! 
  38.  
  39. If you use Opus5 or Magellan then VitalConnect will find it automatically!

  42. REBOOT!

  44. That`s it! Make sure your modem is connected and click on `SETUP' in the `Netlink Dock'.

  46. Follow the instructions!

  48. Look in the FreeConnect drawer and follow the instructions to connect to
  49.  
  50. the Internet FREE!  (No Catches!) also FREE e-mail addresses and FREE Webspace! (15Mb)

  56. HINTS:
  57.

  59. If you click on `WWW' in the Netlink Dock it will bring up your browser and a
  60.  
  61. vertical, movable version of the Netlink Dock. This version remains on the screen until
  62.  
  63. the ` KILL ' button is clicked!
  64.  
  65. If you use IBrowse, the `KILL' button will close all net applications (including IBrowse)
  66.  
  67. and automatically disconnect from the net and hang up your 'phone.
  68.  
  69. If you use any other browser then the `KILL' button will close and disconnect everything
  70.  
  71. EXCEPT your chosen browser. You will have to close it manually!

  82. If you already use Miami and have it configured for your ISP
  83. then just click on `CONNECT'! VitalConnect will automatically find Miami
  84. wherever it is on your harddrive and connect to the Internet! Simple!
